The Mission: To
provide quality law enforcement, custodial, and court related
services to all persons within Mille Lacs County, and to perform all
duties mandated by the Constitution of the United States of America
and the State of Minnesota in a professional, ethical, and cost
efficient manner.
The Sheriff is
the chief law enforcement officer of the county.

Victim Information Notification:
Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) is available in Mille Lacs County. VINE is a free 24-hour telephone service that provides notification of an offender’s release, transfer, or other status change. Victims and the general public may register at any time to request notification by calling 1-877-MN-4-VINE (1-877-664-8463) or by registering on-line at https://www.vinelink.com/vinelink/initMap.do.
