Mille Lacs County Information Services Manager: Michael Virnig

Information Services coordinates and supports the county information systems, including the computers, telephones, and networks.

Information Services works with a variety of vendors, the State of Minnesota, and with various other entities to ensure that county systems are functional and operating optimally.

Information Services oversees the purchase and maintenance of county computer and phone equipment, determines backup schedules and security procedures to protect county data, prepares systems and departments to meet upcoming technology needs, provides system support, and advises county staff on usage of information systems.
