Free COVID-19 Testing Available

Aitkin County Public Health is working in MDH, the MN SEOC, and National Guard to host a 3-day COVID-19 Community Testing Site.  MDH and the SEOC have worked to provide these clinics throughout Minnesota to ensure access to free testing.

Testing will take place at The Journey North Church in Aitkin, from 12:00-6:00 PM Tuesday, October 13th and Wednesday, October 14th and 12:00-3:00 PM on Thursday, October 15th, during MEA. Online registration is available for the event at:

The Minnesota Department of Health is also partnering with local public health officials and other community partners to offer access to free, no-barrier COVID-19 testing the week of Oct. 5 in St. Joseph, Northfield, Willmar, Fairmont, Inver Grove Heights, Ely, and Cloquet. As always with no-barrier testing opportunities, this testing will be free, available to anyone who wants to be tested whether they have symptoms or not, and will not require insurance.
