MDH Case Update 
Today’s figures from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH):

  • Positive COVID-19 cases in the state now total 57,779 (+629 from yesterday). 11,720 tests were processed yesterday, bringing the total to 1,090,303 completed statewide to date. The age range of all positive COVID-19 cases ranges from 1 month - 109 years.
  • 6,569 health care workers have contracted COVID-19 and are included in the positive case total.
  • 305 COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized, and 152 of those in the ICU. A total of 5,373 Minnesotans have required hospitalization for COVID-19, and there are 51,223 patients who no longer require isolation.
  • The state has now experienced 1,629 COVID-19 related deaths (+9 from yesterday). 1,237 of these deaths are of patients who resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
