In partnership with Minnesota Department of Human Services, Hunger Solutions Minnesota is now accepting applications for the State Fiscal Year 2020-21 Minnesota Food Shelf Program (MFSP) COVID-19 State Grant. Minnesota food shelves will receive to purchase food, diapers, toilet paper, and other necessary supplies.
This MFSP funding opportunity is specifically for food shelves. For questions about eligibility, contact Joe Walker email@example.com.
This MFSP funding opportunity is focused on transportation solutions to get food to people in need. It is open to tribal governments, local governments, and nonprofits. Grant funds may be used to help transportation efforts through initiatives such as mobile food shelves, meal programs, and other support services that get free or low-cost food assistance to people in need.
Partnership with the Minnesota Council on Foundations and Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, Hunger Solutions Minnesota is offering emergency grant funds through the generous support of the Minnesota Disaster Recovery Fund (MDRF) for COVID-19. Emergency funds are available to food shelves and community-based hunger-relief partners across Minnesota to support new projects or service expansions that address emerging community food needs and service gaps due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Visit the Hunger Solutions Minnesota website for full details and applications for the grants.
